We met 2 Live Crews Mr.Mixx at our favorite Table Dance spot in Düsseldorf and wrangled two tracks out of him. Since Electro Dancehall is the thing of the bing right about now, we put two Major Lazers and Terry Lynns “It Was Written” in the mix. Dizzee Rascal and Armand Van Helden get processed in their Doorly version. Bar 9 and Celtic Islam appear courtesy of generationbass.com. Frauenarzt and Manny Marc bring in that german flavour. you know, since american apparel brought back leggins and stuff, everybodys auntie’s on revival rap as well. so its no surprise that when i listened to this prepmode song, saw 20 fingers on the tv shortly after, and wrote in my techrap column @ raveline that djs should start spinnin short dick man again – many allready did just that. same with baby got back and a lot of real classics. listening to this gilette was just a joke to me, but theres even an ghettotech remix out actually. first things first.
