Was geht Prolls und Perln? This blog’s gonna be kind of a try to present our Pott Lifestyle to the rest of this world. Thinkin bout the Netherlands, Miami and those Taiwanese techno clubs we heard about… So that’s what it does, we steppin out the box fellers! Let me get back to that upbringing thang so you know who you got in your face! We’re straight Ruhrpott, so we grew up aroung hardcore techno. That’s what hit the Pott like crazy when we were young. Suddenly Glatzen were all over the place and Turks weren’t the only guys to kick ass at the Stadtfest. Them strange gabber guys were just as anti-political as you would expect from people on X, dont get me wrong.
We still weren’t down with that gabber stuff, though. I was the guy the called Hiphopper and that’s how I met Ju: discussin if Pac or Wu Tang rocked the most. Still I found myself hangin with them Gabbers everyday cause they were recruitin their army of hardcore among our Grundschul-friends. You know, everything was pretty much about drungs, so Gabber came like the musically expression of what all of us Kartoffel Kids were doin. Ever popped some E? Now you know what it sounds like, Proll. So thats were that Holland-ish brain cracker sounds struck a nerve.

Now you know whats up, MUSICALLY: we on some hardcore-techno-meets-rapshit shit. Some lets-bring-together-what-makes-us-who-we-are shit!
I always felt like okay, Delinquent Habits sample that Latino stuff, them Africans over there in Conakry put their traditional stuff in it, what you gon do? Volksmusik? Fuck that, that aint what raised me.
someday, feelin like dying from too much of the toomuch, Gabber must have gotten into my head… Though I never liked it while I was forced to hear it, waitin on the next hit from the Holli, I guess ich bin drauf klatschen geblieben Hardcore sneaked into my brains and got itself a nice & comfortable, hidden place. May be it was just the wrong music on the wrong shrooms, but today I feel it like lips auf der Kuppe. ‘xcuse my german.
