bout to go to see the kanye wests show tomorrow in hamburg. ive allready been to his last gig in oberhausen, together with my editors from hiphop.de. was fun, man i nearly passed out in the middle^^

drinkin aside, kanye did his daft punk inspired ufo show. loved it. yeah, i was surprised to, but somehow this musical-like stuff was dope. more a pop- than a rap show but refreshing and perfectly staged.
like i said, kanyes show reminds me of daft punks alien dj sets on top of their neo rave-coloured pyramid. kanye stood on a huge laptop first and kept a colour-changin planets and universe background through the whole show. starting to fukk with electro after sampling daft punk and ripping their concepts for your live show afterwards? kanye keeps it thorough.





seeing consequence before kanye took over was funny to. all he did was shaking his left wrist, dancing a little and rap through his songs like he was training for something. a real nineties concept. minus talkin to the audience.
40 minutes later kanye took over, did the same (only adding his trademark pirouette) and everybody was amazed as fuck. what a difference some planets make.

looking for a pic to show the similaritys i just found a kanye statement to swagger jacking accusations:

just had a long conversation with fu in africa about the same old same old. you know, loving a girl you would marry but still wanting to fuck all the other bitches like theres no tomorrow. i should write a book about pros and cons, perhaps even the one and only machismo manifesto. something thet helps us fellers, who believe in the power of their nuts and the importance of bein straigt at the same time, find a way. a way to be with a good girl once you found her, keep her, dont play tricks on her like your honor tells you, and still follow your natural instincts to fertilize the world.

MRSH is a store keeper from witten, i met him once with jannis in a studio in wittens woods: an empty factory hall with a build in studio, to be exact. 7 people sat on old couches, drinking, gettin high. someone showed me the build in studio, where we walked over 5 more guys who slept in that strange, big compressed wood-shelter. merch didnt stop talkin crazy during the rest of the night and id bet a hunni that they spent a thousand nights like that before. his acapella is crazy like his monologues.
brenna really rocked it, i missed all the rap shows, but this one even fits better on schakkerhart.com. stumpf.

when i counted the bottles after getting up i recognized how much i had drunk the night b4. five of them during one phone conversation? wohin? the rest of the day didnt feel too productive, still i could finish an article about terry lynn next to the daily BI. then, b4 i got a chance to make a song out of some ideas i had, weekend came. that might seem weird for you if you work a 9 to 5, but since i live in a constant-weekend timezone, i allways wish for two more hours to get shit done before the party starts. most concerts of friends i go to, i only see the encore and the afterparty.

anyways, i had planned to watch feuer über deutschland, a dvd i am on, with marlon. plus jayjay had asked me to step by because he couldnt leave the house. some eye infection or something.. when i finally remembered Brennas release concert in hagen, it added up to too much for one evening. i cancelled meeting jay. he started betting^^- fucks one up to see six friends get loaded for a party you cant go to.. done did that too many times myself. i felt sorry but decided he wouldnt have cancelled anything for me if it was the other way around. hey pal, you started that unloyal bullshit.
marlon finally called like “sorry pal, just watch that thang alone, we gotta go to frankfurt to kick some asses.” – “no prob, i’m going to hagen now anyways. whats up with you fellas?” – “ah nothing, just somebody we have to knock and them boys want me with them” – “okay watch yourself”. never knew he got down like that, but whatever. at least some loyalty left in this stinking world.
meanwhile i chatted with two editors and blackballed a video project because they had fucked up the sound. four hours extra time for one of em and i still had to kick it. i ended all conversations, filled the flachmann with dew, grabbed a piece of the newspaper and went to catch the train. one hour of bouncing sefyu on the fucking qbowl and typing bullshit in my mobile ahead..

okay let me give you a quik report and some the streets news. mike skinner is in germany at the moment, touring. i planned to meet him and do a videointerview in duisburg, till my grannie decided to throw a birthday bash that day…luckily i could convince raveline magazine of the benefits of a mike skinner interview and traveled to his frankfurt show. not really economical, that trip, i’ll earn 20 E less than the train’s cost me.

guess you see the irony of it all – you might say “has it come too this? dont mug yourself pal, turn the page, its too late to act like a fan”, but we all got out runnins, lets stay positive: geezers need excitement, not the same old things, weak wont become heroes by drinking too much brandy, throw some sharp darts on that dailyroutine, lets push things forward, who dares wins! now who got the funk?^^

anyways, after 3 hours on the train i waited for the interview watchin football at a betting office. at 0:1 it was about time. the tour manager was a mean mugging skinhead, farting while he talked business. mike was kool, we talked about grime, dubstep, american rap and the techno rap revolution i talk about all day since schakkerhart started. we was pretty much on the same page, if this electro experimenting bullshit is supposed to lead somewhere, you guys better give it some substance or at least creativity.
mikes next album (the last the streets album) is supposed to sound more electronic than everything he did before, so he may be part of 2009s rap on techno movement. he gave props to Rinse and Peter Fox and declared dubstep his favourite for 2008.

after the chat i went back to see dortmund end the game 1:1 and wrote my article at a döner spot while waitin for the concert. -which featured a joke-cracking mike skinner plus live orchestra, his usual “sit down and get up again” games and an audience that was like some (SOME!) of his joints: smooth, intelligent, but too pop-y.

i was standing at the small train station in oberhausen, blowing smoke in the dark night, hearing stories about being on parole from by-standing jerks. when micha and kai arrived it was easy to find the way to megarave. gabbers is wearin uniforms in ruhrpott , we just had to join the army. micha was still psyched by having a new born son with a girl he harldy knows.

we didnt even try to get into the backstage area at turbinenhallen and kept dancing and drinkin instead. the scenery didnt look different than the ones at all the other gabber partys in that place. like a dark station concourse, packed with loaded skinheads, with three or four hardcore areas attached. getting drunk was heard because they sold miniature wodkas for big ass prices. nobody was there to drink anyways.

the djs was rockin, the darkraver did his thing, we talked after his set and i left him a schakkerhart promo cd with the tracks you find on the left. with their traditional live show, consisting of to blade-like MCs and two big titted strippers, rotterdam terror corps were the main act. a moshpit was starting in front of us, highlighted by a suit-wearing bouncer who was obviously overcharged by the situation. he tried so hard to look mean that his face turned to a disgusting caricature. nervously tryin to stare down everybody at the same time, somebody bounced into him, so he tried to end the riot of hald naked hools kickin each other across the dancefloor. i stepped on something, looking down i found michas hand under my air max.

Guess its gon be electro and me dont like no electro, you know? me is more interested in harder styles. but anyways, imma check it out, since we are all so open minded theses days.

Time to take a look back on syndicate. since my cam was stolen in barcelona (cancer to this suckers mums bloody penis) i had a tentative one wit me that broke down 10 minutes after i left my live/work/drink/rap-comfort zone. not only that i had to wait till other sites posted their pics to show you my face in the current location, i couldnt document my train ride. trauer.

i met shorty and taz on their way to village, a black music club in dortmund. next to us was 4 girls startin to work on their hairdos. turned out the chicks shorty and
was wit were professionel hairdressers or something. they helped them girls for more than an hour with a complete stylin assecoir set (dont ask me whwere the fuck that came from), while the gabbers that occupied the rest of the train smoked weed and cracked jokes. i felt like i fell asleep watchin barbershop an hour ago and my brain started mixing up things. nice ride, next to the clouds of sticky hairspray. okay, forget this story, ill post the shitty qbowl pic and open a new post for syndicate…

last night i dreamed i was visitin my parents – my father tells me i missed the return match between borussia dortmund and udinese. i start hatin myself and ask for the result. my dad tells me we made the two goals to equalize in total, when udinese suddenly scored another one to kick us out in the last minutes. tears startet runnin down my cheeks.

okay we’ll see tomorrow what reality holds. i’ll give you some pics of my last trip to the stadium (victory in dfb pokal against hertha bsc berlin) to keep the faith.

I got up at 11, started workin a lil and ended up having a Wicküler and the last asshole by nature album for breakfast on the train at 4pm. perfect combination to kill some time.

since i got real sleepy by trae and z-i treat my clothes better than i treat my hoes-ros screw music, i used rotterdam terror corps to get me awake at dortmund hauptbahnhof.

the rest of the day, food-wise, went something like this: beer, Schnitzelbrötchen with beer, Bratwurst, beer, beer, Bratwurst, Beer, Beer, Beer, McDonalds, Glass of water, goodnight. Repeat that, add some cigarrettes and the whack pics might really give you the right impression.
hm, at least i managed to find some guys from my hometown and snap the banner.

shit had started fucked up when i realised they dont sell beer on international games..
funniest thing i saw was dieter on hauptbahnhof.

he wanted 5 bucks for the pic but i promised him a piece of my earnings instead.
dont know what his hat is tryin to say but it speaks out loud. it got louder on südtribüne, but the energy didnt really grab the guys on the field. lost 0:2.

what i did was buyin two tickets for the next game. dfb cup against berlin, again with kuup, an old homie from kamen. i’ll make sure i get drunk this time. nach dem spiel is vor dem spiel.
