On my field trip to find every bloody collision of rap and techno, i found this right herrrre. let me sum it up for you.

We have a group, The Blackout Crew, from Bolton, England. Startin a new genre, calling it Donk. name comes from the sounds they use, the video is explaining pretty well. If they dont call it Donk, they call it Bounce. ööhm, yea. fits the script.

it’s not hard to tell that this is another fine ass example of an [early] nineties revival. Sounds like Happy Hardcore meets the Outhere Brothers. Their rapstyle sounds a lil bit like the strange army pilots they used to sell techno-lovin, german mainstreamers as rappers in the nineties.

ain’t as terrible as the blogger i ripped the story from is claiming, though. i guess they paid him for hatin em…^^

the music is a bit too… bouncy and happy for me. Still the hard parts rock, they know what they doin and i’d place a bet youll here them in your club of choice next summer.
